“The term Kurusu Jegua means decorated cross in Guaraní, emphasizing its beauty to awaken and express the forces that its interior shelters”

The “Crosses” exhibition brings together the works of 57 contemporary artists, 43 from the Gente de Arte Group and 14 special guests, using techniques in paintings, drawings, engravings, transfers, objects, photographs and installations.

The talent, creativity and variety of the crosses presented stand out from the mbejeguá of the kurusu era in terms of contemporaryness.
